Chap. 285.—An ACT authorizing the sale of Young’s chapel church
property, in Grayson county.
Approved March 6, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
W.G. Young and L. N. Perkins, trustees of the Young’s
chapel’s church on Wilson creek, Grayson county, and such
other members as may be associated with them by the laws
governing said church, be and they are hereby authorized
and empowered to sell and convey their interest in the said
property now owned and held by them for the use of the
oung’s chapel Baptist church, and to invest the proceeds of
such sale in other property more convenient to the members
of such church, to be owned and held for the exclusive use
of the Young’s chapel Baptist church, under such rules and
regulations as may be prescribed by the said denomination
for its government.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
