Chap. 98.—An ACT to authorize the Free-will Baptist Home Associa-
tion to convey certain real estate in Richmond city.
Approved February 22, 1878.
1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly of Virginia, That
the Free-will Baptist Home Mission Socicty, a body incorpora-
ted by the legislature of the state of New Hampshire, is au-
thorized, by its duly accredited agent, to convey certain real
estate in Richmond city, being lots numbers thirty-nine and
forty on seventh street, north of Baxter street, to Willis Wyatt,
trustee for lodge number fifty-nine; H. Mitchel, trustee for
lodge number forty-six ; George Richardson, trustee for lodge
number ; James Henry Wallace, trustee for lodge
number soventy-five; Pattie White, trustee for lodge number
seventy-three; and Reana Johnson, trustee for lodge number
fifty-six; all of which lodges are of the Order of Love and
Charity; and the title to the property so conveyed, shall be
as valid asif the said Free-will Baptist Home Mission Society
were duly authorized by its charter to take, hold, and convey
real estate in the state of Virginia.
2. The trustees above named are hereby authorized to
execute a deed of trust to secure to the said Free-will Baptist
Home Socicty the deferred payments of purchase money for
said property.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
