Chap. 28.—An ACT to authorize the county of Rappahannock to unite
with the counties of Fauquier and Culpeper in constructing a bridge
over the Rappahannock river.
Approved January 15, 1878.
1, Bo it enacted by the gencral assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of Rappaban-
nock county, (if in their judement it shall be proper for said
county to unite with the counties of Fauquier and Culpeper,
in the construction of a bridge over the Rappahannock river
at Waterloo), to appoint three commissioners to meet com-
missioners from the counties of Fauquier and Culpeper, ap-
pointed by the county courts of said counties, at auch time
as may be agreed upon; and said commissioner so appointed
from the county of Rappabannock, shall agree with the other
commissioners as to the manner and conditions of doing the
work, and the amount to be contributed by Rappahannock
county thereto. Said commissioners shall report the result
of such conference agreement; and, if said supervisors shall
approve the report of said commissioners, the county courts
of Rappahannock, Fauquier, and Culpeper shall proceed to
construct the said bridge in the mode and manner specified
in the general statute law of the commonwealth in such case
wade and provided. .
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
