Chap. 271.—An ACT allowing further time to William M. Field,
treasurer of Dinwiddie county, to make his return of delinquents
and insolvents for 1876.

Approved March 14, 1878.

Whereas, W. M. Field, treasurer of Dinwiddie county,
failed to make his return to the auditor of public accounts of
his delinquent and insolvent lists for the year eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-six, within the time prescribed by law;
therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the said
treasurer shall be and is hereby allowed until the first day
of May, eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, to make return
of his delinquent and insolvent lists for the year eighteen
hundred and seventy-six; and if made out and certified
according to law by that time, the auditor of public accounts
is hereby authorized to allow a proper credit therefor in the
final settlement of said tredsurer.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
