CHAP. 223.—An ACT to amend the act approved March 29, 1877, in
relation to the meeting of the general assembly.

Approved March 12, 1878.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the act approved March twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and
seventy-seven, entitled an act to amend and re-enact the first
section of chapter fourteen of the Code of eighteen hundred
and seventy-three, as amended by an act approved April fit-
teenth, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, enti'led an act to
amend and re-enact section one of chapter fourteen of the
Code, eighteen hundred and seventy-three, in relation to the
meeting of the general assembly, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows: .

§ 1. The general assembly shall meet on the first Wednes-
day of December. It shall sig at the capitol in the city of
Richmond, but may adjourn to any othar place.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
