Chap. 137.—An ACT to remove the political disabilities of James C.
Scott and Edward G. Spillman under the duelling clause of the con-
stitution.

Approved March 4, 1878.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the disabilities of James C. Scott and Edward G. Spilman, of
Fauquier county, incurred under the third clause of section
first of article third of the Constitution, be and the same are
hereby removed.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
