Chap. 34.—An ACT for the reliefof the heirs of Harvey West, deceased,
of Rockingham county.
Approved January 20, 1877.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the auditor
of public accounts be, and he is hereby, authorized and re-
quired to issue his warrant on the treasury, payable out of
any money not otherwise appropriated, in favor of William
W. West, representative of the heirs of Harvey West, de-
ceased, for the sum of twenty dollars, the same being the
amount of state taxes erroneously assessed against and paid
by the said heirs on forty acres of land in Rockingham coun-
ty, from eighteen hundred and seventy-one to eighteen hun-
dred and seventy-four, inclusive.
2. That the supervisors of Rockingham county be empow-.
ered, should they deem it right and proper so to do, to issue
their warrant on the treasurer of said county to William W.
West, representative of said heirs, for thirteen dollars, the
same being the amount of county taxes erroneously assessed
against and paid by them on the said forty acres of land
from eighteen hundred and seventy-one to eighteen hundred
and seventy-four, inclusive.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
