Chap. 290.—An ACT in regard to the right of property in manure
made in the ordinary course of husbandry by a tenant or leasce.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly, That it shall not be
lawful for an out-going tenant, at will or for years, to remove
from the land or sell manure made in the ordinary course of
husbandry, ‘consisting of ashes, leached or unleached, collec-
tions from the stables and barn-yard, or of composts formed
by an admixture of these with the soil or other substances,
such manure being, in the absence of any expressed stipula-
tion on the subject, so attached to the realty as to pass with
the same to the landlord.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
