hannock Turnpike.

Bperrynilleand 1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the board
Lee epete te Of directors of the Sperryville and Rappahannock turnpike,
eold incorporated by an act entitled an act to incorporate the
Sperryville and Rappahannock Turnpike Company, passed
twenty-seventh March, eighteen hundred and forty-eight,
and amended by the first and second sections of an act passed
nineteenth February, eighteen hundred and fifty-one, entitled
an act to increase the capital stock of the Sperryville and
Rappahannod and Thornton’s Gap Turnpike Companies, be,
and are hereby authorized and empowered, with the assent
of the private stockholders, to sell at public auction, for such
price and on such terms as the board of directors may deem
judicious, all the right, title, interest, and franchise, including

Commencement 2- This act shall be in force from its passage.
