Chap. 71.—An ACT to authorize the Valley Mining and Manufactur-
ing Company to borrow money, and to pledge the Property of the
Company to secure the payment. .

Approved February 28, 1874,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the direc-
tors of the Valley Mining and Manufacturing Company, or
a majority of them, shall have power to borrow money, and
to issue proper certificates of such loans, and to pledge the
property of the company, by mortgage, deed of trust, or
otherwise, for the payment of the same, and the interest that
may accrue thereon.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
