2. The object and purpose of this corporation shall be

shall constitute the executive committee of the said corpora-
tion, with power to fill vacancies which may occur in their v
own body by death or otherwise; to appoint a sub-committee 4
or committees for such purposes as may be necessary ; to make
rules and regulations for the management of said corpora-
tion, and for the admission of members, and generally to do
every act and thing necessary to carry into effect this act,
and to promote the objects and design of this corporation,
five members of said committee shall constitute a quorum
for the transaction of any and all business. The office of this y
corporation shall be at Fredericksburg, Virginia. o
7. This act shall be in force from its passage. c
