Chap. 286.—An ACT constituting a portion of the Rappahannock River
a Lawful Fence.
Approved April 29, 1874.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly: That between
the proprietors and occupants of land exten ing to and lying
on both sides of Rappahannock river, from the Point of Rock,
or the junction of the Rapidan and Rappahannock rivers to
Scott’s bridge, in the town of Fredericksburg, the bed or
channel of said river, shall be and is hereby constituted a
lawful fence.
2. This act shall be in force from and after the first day of
July next.
