Chap. 281.—An ACT to amend the Charter of the Matoaca Manuis:
turing Company, in the County of Chesterfield.

Chartercf Ma- 1. Bo it enacted by the general assembly, That the char
toring ome ter of the Matoaca manufacturing company, in the county a
nyeontinuedin Chesterfield, shall be and is hereby extended, so as to con
tinue in full force till amended or repealed by future act of
assembly; and the said company is hereby invested with all
Rights, privi- the rights, privileges and powers, and subjected to all the
legee, powers | rules, regulations and restrictions, prescribed by the Code of
Virginia, in relation to such bodies politic and corporate, 60

which may be passed to alter or modify the same, so far as
