An Act to amend and reenact § 54-426.1 of the Code of Virginia, relatin,
to when pharmacist considered guilty of unprofessional conduct.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. P tea § 54-426.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 54-426.1. When pharmacist considered guilty of unprofessional
conduct.—Any pharmacist shall be considered guilty of unprofessional
conduct who (1) is found guilty of any crime involving grave moral tur-
pitude, or is guilty of fraud or deceit in obtaining a certificate of reg-
istration; or (2) is an habitual drunkard or habitually addicted to the
use of narcotics, opiates or dangerous drugs; or (3) issues, publishes,
broadcasts by radio or otherwise, or distributes or uses in any way what-
soever advertising matter in which grossly improbable or extravagant
statements are made about his professional service which have a tendency
to deceive or defraud the public, contrary to the public health and wel-
fare; or (4) issues, publishes, advertises or promotes, directly or indi-
rectly, in any manner whatsoever, any amount, price, fee, premium, dis-
count, rebate or credit terms for professional services or for drugs con-
taining narcotics or for any drugs which may be dispensed only by
prescription.
