An Act to provide when certain children whose age is not ascertainable
shall be admitted in the public schools of this State. rH 1082]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Any child who is a ward of the State or under State welfare
whose age is not ascertainable because of lack of birth certificate, shall
nonetheless be admitted into the public schools, upon affidavit of any
employee of the Department of Welfare who is in a position to be able
to reasonably ascertain the age of such child. The Department of Welfare
shall secure a birth certificate as soon thereafter as reasonable,
