CHAPTER 739

An Act to amend and reenact § 22-20, as amended, of the Code of Virginia,
relating to per diem and expenses of the State Board of Education.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 22-20, as amended, of the Code of Virginia be amended and
reenacted as follows:

§ 22-20. Per diem and expenses.— * Members of the State Board
may receive a per diem of twenty-five dollars per day while attending
meetings of the Board or any committee thereof. The members of the
Board shall receive such reasonable expenses as each member may incur
in attending meetings of the Board, any committee thereof or any official
assignment as a member of such Board.

All such expenditures shall be made from available funds by the
Treasurer on the warrant of the Comptroller upon the approved voucher
or vouchers required by the Comptroller.
