CHAPTER 65

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
26-40.1 to provide that obligations of the Inter-American Development
Bank be lawful investments for fiduciaries.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
26-40.1, as follows:

§ 26-40.1. Executors, administrators, trustees and other fiduciaries,
both individual and corporate, also may invest the funds held by them in a
fiduciary capacity in bonds and other obligations issued, guaranteed or
assured by the Inter-American Development Bank (22 USCA §§ 283-288 i),
which are and shall be considered lawful investments.
