CHAPTER 536
An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
9-48.7, relating to expenditures of funds and certain other activities
by the Commission on Constitutional Government; and to repeal §§
9-48.1 through 9-48.6 of the Code of Virginia, relating to the Commis-
sion on Constitutional Government. (S$ 394]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
9-48.7, as follows:
§ 9-48.7. During the period July one, 1968, to December thirty-one,
1968, inclusive, the Commission on Constitutional Government shall make
no expenditure for the purpose of preparing or printing new or reprinted
publications.
During the period July one, 1968, to December thirty-one, 1968, inclu-
sive, the Commission on Constitutional Government shall engage in no
activities which are not necessary or expedient in order to effect an orderly
cessation of operations by January one, 1969
2. §§ 9-48.1 through 9-48.6, inclusive, of the Code of Virginia are re-
pealed effective as of January one, nineteen hundred sixty-nine.
