CHAPTER 523

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
10-92.01, relating to certain powers of the State Geologist.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
10-92.01, as follows:

§ 10-92.01. No criminal action for trespass shall lie against the State
Geologist, or any agent or employee of such State Geologist, on account of
lawful acts done in the performance of their duties, including entry upon
the lands of any person or persons for the purpose of performing such

uties.
