CHAPTER 394

An Act to permit certain cities to pay the salaries of their constitutional
Officers biweekly.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Any city which has a population of more than thirteen thous-
and but less than fourteen thousand, and the bookkeeping of such city
is done by data processing, is hereby authorized to pay the salaries of its
constitutional officers biweekly, provided, that nothing in this section shall
be construed to reduce the total annual salary of any constitutional officer
of such city, as provided by law.

2. Anemergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
