An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
17-126.2 relating to the jurisdiction of the circuit and county courts
of Nansemond, Henry, Roanoke and Augusta Counties. rH 42)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
17-126.2 as follows:
§ 17-126.2. The circuit and county courts of Nansemond County
shall have, concurrently with the courts of record and courts not of
record, respectively, of the city of Suffolk, jurisdiction over criminal
offenses committed in or upon the premises. buildings. rooms or offices
located in the city of Suffolk which are owned or occupied by Nansemond
County or any officer, agency or department of the county.
The circuit and county courts of Henry County shall have, concur-
rently with the courts of record and the courts not of record, respectively,
of the city of Martinsville, jurisdiction over criminal] offenses committed
in or upon the premises, buildings, rooms or offices located in the city of
Martinsville which are owned or occupied by Henry County or any officer,
agency or department of the county.
The circuit and county courts of Roanoke County shall have, concur-
rently with the courts of record and courts not of record, respectively,
of the city of Salem, jurisdiction over criminal offenses committed in or
upon the premises, buildings, rooms or offices located in the city of Salem
which are owned or occupied by Roanoke County or any officer, agency or
department of the county.
The circuit and county courts of Augusta County shall have, concur-
rently with the courts of record and courts not of record, respectively,
of the city of Staunton. jurisdiction over criminal offenses committed in or
upon the premises, buildings, rooms or offices located in the city of Staun-
ton which are owned or occupied by Augusta County or any officer, agency
or department of the county.
