An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
15.1-478.1 to validate certain recorded subdivision plats. I G8

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
15.1-478.1 as follows:

§ 15.1-478.1. Any subdivision plat recorded prior to January one,
nineteen hundred fifty-three, if otherwise valid, is hereby validated and
declared effective even though the technical requirements for recordation
existing at the time such plat was recorded were not complied with.
