An Act to authorize the Governor to convey certain land to the city of
Virginia Beach.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Governor, by deed in form approved by the Attorney Gen-
eral, for and in consideration of certain services to be rendered by the
city of Virginia Beach, is hereby authorized to convey to the city of Vir-
ginia Beach that certain parcel of land at and adjacent to the military
reservation at Camp Pendleton, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a concrete monument at the intersection of the north-
erly boundary line of the Commonwealth of Virginia property known
as Camp Pendleton and the westerly right of way line of General Booth
Boulevard, running thence along the said westerly right of way line
of General Booth Boulevard south 59° 29’ 25” west 341.78 feet to a con-
crete monument; thence along the arc of a curve 1505.44 feet to a point;
thence north 52° 37’ 21” west 180.00 feet to a point; thence south
36° 01’ 43” west 206.77 feet to a point; thence south 54° 46’ 54” east 180
feet to a point in the westerly right of way line of General Booth Boule-
vard; thence south 35° 13’ 06” west 1107 feet to a point; thence north
64° 26’ 54” west 107.37 feet to a point; thence along the arc of a curve
117.11 feet to-a point; thence south 84° 07’ 06” west 139.28 feet to a
point; thence north 43° 35’ 36” west 179.49 feet to a point in the approxi-
mate center line of the southern branch of Owl’s Creek; thence along
the approximate center line of the southern branch of Owl’s Creek north
46° 24” 24” east 386.54 feet to a point; thence north 41° O07’ 14” east
931.97 feet to a point; north 20° 34’ 15” east 916.43 feet to a point;
thence north 51° 47’ 39” east 729.20 feet to a point; thence north
34° 14’ 15” east 261.28 feet to a point; thence south 58° 02’ 53” east
540.00 feet to a 114 inch iron pipe; thence south 58° 02’ 53” east 292.18
feet to a point of beginning and containing 35.429 acres, being the same
parcel of land as shown on plat of portion of land of Commonwealth
of Virginia known as Camp Pendleton located in Virginia Beach, Vir-
ginia, dated January 2, 1968, by Langley, McDonald and Overman.
