An Act to amend and reenact § 8.1-951 of Chapter 85 of Title 3.1 of the
Code of Virginia, relating to fluid dairy products. rH 456)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 3.1-951 of Chapter 35 of Title 3.1 of the Code of Virginia
be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 3.1-951. Fluid dairy products.—All fluid dairy products, including
but not limited to whole milk, skimmed milk, cultured milk, sweet cream,
sour cream, and buttermilk shall be packaged for retail sale only in units
of one gill, one-half liquid pint, ten fluid ounces, one liquid pint, one liquid
quart, or multiples of one liquid quart; provided, that any fluid dairy
product which contains not less than eleven percent milk fat may be sold
in packages of the capacity of one-half fluid ounce.
